World Book Day in Y6!

We had so much fun today during our final World Book Day in primary school. We started the day with a great assembly introducing the day and even had the opportunity to help judge the rest of the classes. 

When we went back to class we had a team quiz all about different books we've read so far. We had to guess the name of the books based on their covers, chose characters based on a set of clues and we even had to identify characters that had been blurred. This was a great way to start our day. 

We then started our main task where we had to design a cover and blurb for a book, based on a short extract. We used these designs to make our very on 'book monsters' which we've displayed in the hall.
